Basically, this is a program for creating, editing, printing and listening to tablature and sheet music for guitar and other fretted, stringed instruments, including mandolin, bass and banjo. The installation process of TablEdit takes little time to complete and requires only a few mouse clicks for this. The program is compatible with all Windows versions, including XP and Windows 7.

The interface of TablEdit displays a large stave on which the user can add various musical notes. Adding notes is not difficult due to the large number of features included in the program. As such, beginners can use the virtual piano roll for adding notes, while musicians or more advanced computer users can directly add the needed notes. Every note can be played before adding it to the stave, making sure it's the right one. The program allows adding a title for the created song and also some comments.

After a song has been created and all the notes have been added to the stave, the result can be exported in various audio formats or can be printed directly. It can also be exported as a text or HTML file.
